Pastor’s Column

Dear friends,

During the depths of the winter, I often find myself yearning for the longer, light-filled days of the spring and summer seasons. It’s not lost on me that the longing I experience is paralleled in the natural world. Much of our flora lays dormant, buried deep, anxiously awaiting the days where the powerful sun awakens its fecundity. That waiting, that anticipation, is an essential part of growth and the life cycle.

Easter has arrived and with it the season of hope. Our season of promise. Our celebration of renewal.

This Easter, I’m praying that our St. James’ community bands together as a community of the hopeful, that we support each other in living differently, and that we strengthen each other’s spiritual renewal in the faith of Jesus Christ. With hope, a new life awaits us. Indeed, we are Pilgrims of Hope!

Friends, please know that I feel blessed with the distinct honor of serving this incredible community of faith! May God’s promise of renewal this Easter season inspire you to pursue a life of discipleship rooted in our Catholic tradition.

May God bless you and your family this Easter Season!

Fr. David C. Santos, Pastor

CAMPUS REDEVELOPMENT
To continue the flow of information to parishioners regarding the campus redevelopment project, we’ve added a Campus Redevelopment Plan page to the parish website. You can easily access the page via a button on the main page. There you’ll find a slide show outlining our Goals, Sub-Division Site Plan, New Parish Center preliminary design schematic, and Estimated Timeline.

As I’ve mentioned before, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly or any of the Campus Redevelopment Committee members if you have any questions or comments.
