CENTENNIAL PRAYER

Heavenly Father, with grateful hearts and a steadfast spirit,
we jubilantly commemorate one hundred years as a community of faith,
under the patronage of Saint James the Apostle.
Remembering the past, we honor the dedication and faithfulness of our forebearers,
those who have built our community on the solid rock of faith in Jesus Christ.
We will never forget the sacrificial love on which they built this church.
In gratitude, we celebrate your ever-faithful presence among us.
In Word, in Sacrament, and in Each Other,
you continue to fill us with many graces and blessings.
Finally, through the intercession of Saint James the Apostle,
who was first called to follow your son, Jesus Christ,
before being sent to lend others to Him,
we beg for the grace, courage, and wisdom needed to lead the next generation of faith.
Good and Gracious God, may your goodness and love,
which has guided us those one hundred years,
continue to sustain us in the present and lead us into the future.
