Campus Redevelopment

On Wednesday, July 23rd, St. James presented our campus redevelopment plan to the Springfield Board of Adjustment.
It is with a grateful heart and exultant spirit that I report the unanimous approval by the Springfield Township Board of Adjustment regarding our application for the subdivision of the parish property for the purposes of selling the school and convent and the construction of a new parish center.
The application was met with overwhelming support by the members of the Board of Adjustment, our neighbors, and parishioners.
We can now proceed with the sale of the school and convent properties to Winston School, the buyer of the property.
While more detailed information will follow regarding the next steps which include a major parish Capital Campaign, the construction of a new parish center, and the purchase of a rectory residence, I wanted to personally share with you this wonderful news.
Friends, this is an exciting moment in our parish’s history.
Thank you for your support and please continue to keep the Campus Redevelopment Committee, the Finance Council and me
